Cecil Dance Theatre (CDT) is the senior performing company in Cecil Dancenter's pre-professional program. This group of talented, dedicated dancers devote many hours to company rehearsals in addition to rigorous class schedules. The opportunities provided to these students include stage experience in two full-scale shows per year plus community outreach performances in addition to participation options in various master classes, summer intensive programs, and much more.

The Cecil Dance Theatre Presents A Holiday Enchantment. Choreography by Anya Ivanova - These are images from the Final Rehearsals held at Milburn Stone Theatre, Wednesday Dec 18th, 2024. A family-friendly show is a fun and seasonal ride through the holidays including delightful scenes with tapping reindeer, music box ballerinas, and a jazzy Santa number with a hip hop edge! A variety of Norman Rockwell-like scenes are offered along with traditional Christmas stories like Frosty, The Nutcracker, and O’ Holy Night. Audiences will be captivated as our dancers grace the stage as an enchanted winter wonderland encapsulates them. This show will leave you with cherished memories for years to come with the beautiful choreographic steps of this joyful seasonal production.

Cecil Dancenter and Cecil Dance Theatre (CDT) Presents " The Nutcracker" A classic presentation of the beloved seasonal ballet The Nutcracker. For many families, this is an annual holiday tradition and often times, may be their child’s first experience at attending a ballet production. Cecil Dance Theatre stays true to the original story as young Clara Silberhaus awaits the arrival of her eccentric uncle to the family Christmas Eve party. Once there he presents her with a lovely nutcracker doll. That night, she falls asleep with her nutcracker tucked in her arms and she dreams the most exciting and adventurous dream - her nutcracker battles with an army of mice, turns into a Prince, and takes her on a journey through different lands. The Cecil Dancenter's presentation of this timeless ballet will delight one and all.

The Cecil Dance Theatre presents "The Nutcracker". Choreography by Anya Ivanova-Bojko. This is the Cast of 2023 with images taken from November 19th Studio session at the Dancenter's main studio. The Nutcracker Ballet is based on the story "The Nutcracker and the King of Mice" written by E.T.A. Hoffman. Although what is seen on the stage today is slightly different in detail from the original story, the basic plot remains the same; The story of a young girl who dreams of a Nutcracker Prince and a fierce battle against a Mouse King with seven heads.
